Good Friday Morning DU!!!
How is everyone this fine morning? It's 70 degrees here and so far, a lovely day. (exit sarcasm) :donut: How is your morning going?

And a SPECIAL HELLO to all you walkers/joggers/runners out there this morning. How many miles have YOU done? :)

As far as running I have no idea. Playing basketball and doing shuttle runs I have no idea of knowing. So how are you doing?

30. I have to check
I feel asleep early last night. Mostly because after I talked to you I crashed out and slept for 3 hours. Damn, I just checked my email and monster notified me over that a fake website has sent some fradualent email posing as Monster to my account. "the webpage asked for personal information, including bank account and credit card numbers." Well I didn't do any of that so I guess nothing to worry about. It's still strange.

Edited on Fri May-21-04 06:40 AM by Champ
Let's see I use the bathroom and when I get back to the living room where everyone was at some girl pointed out to me "Your fly is down" so as I zip it back up I simply said(wasn't trying to be funny or anything) "It happens" everyone including her starts laughing(one was laughing hysterically). So over the course of the day 3 of the people I was hanging out with in the early afternoon they would occasionally say "it happens" and everybody starts laughing again. See what I mean? I need to sleep more, on that note when is the next up all night party? :D

Looks like there is a power problem at one of my buildings...so the computers will, no doubt be screwed. I get to be principal for the day at that school today too..hopefully the phones and power will be restored within the half hour when I need to head over. At least I will be principaling where the computer work will need to be done. I guess if I have any discipline problems I can have them carry dead equipment or something

41. I'm doing better
Allergies were kicking my ass for a while, but that's not unusual. I've been allergic to nature all my life really. The date went alright the other night. I'm pretty certain that I did well, but I'm not sure how much I dig this girl. She might be a little more hippie/country/free spirit for my tastes (don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with that style, I just don't know about dating someone like that). I'm probably going to give it another date though. What can it harm, right?

Talk about allergies! It's pretty bad here too. What do you take for your's? Normally the only thing that works for me are two Clarinex. :eyes:

Glad to hear the date went well. Give her another try though. Maybe she settles down after the first date? lol. Not that there's anything wrong with it (like you said), but I'm not sure how well my personality would mesh with someone's like that either. Where did you guys go? Good luck either way! :)

59. I don't take a lot of meds any more
I only take em if I get really bad now, or if I get a sinus headache. I'll usually take a tylenol sinus, but I think I'm going to start taking claritin because that seemed to work pretty well.

We didn't go anywhere special. We had planned on going to get some ice cream, but she decided when we met up that she wanted dinner, so we wound up at a mexican place. I don't think she's going to be "settling down" much though... in fact, I think she was toning it down for the first impression. We'll see though. I just feel bad... to be perfectly honest, it's the first time I've been on a date with someone that I wasn't certain I wanted to go out again. I guess I'm just worried about leading her on, because when I date, I'm the romantic guy girls claim to want (they really don't though... trust me on that.) I tend to give off the impression I'm a lot deeper into things than I really am, probably because most other guys don't take the same effort that I do. But I figure one more date can't be a big deal, and if it doesn't work out, it shouldn't be a dramatic thing, right?

60. No dramatics.
It's nice that you're a romantic guy. Here's the thing, women want romantic guys, but we want romantic guys that take a little effort. We want to have to work a little, but not TOO hard. Get it? It's confusing. It's like, if a guy is too easy to jump into a relationship with, we see that as a weakness. We want someone who we have to work with but not TOO hard. :) Am I making any sense?

86. THAT makes sense
But you might be surprised at the things I've heard. I've encountered what you're talking about, but I've also encountered far more often a sincere distrust because of what I do. Girls think I'm like out to get them or something, like my attitude is an act just to get what I want and leave. I know it comes from their past experiences usually, but still...

89. Don't take it offensively.
Obviously you just haven't met the right girl yet. She'll come along, and when she does, you'll know. :D

40. 66 and sunny... as always
Didn't run this morning, but did get on my stationary bike and the bowflex. Thinking of taking a swim later.

That sounds fun! Wish I could do the same! :) Take a couple of extra laps for me too!

How do you like the bowflex thing?

48. Love the bowflex
It's very easy on the joints, very easy to use, and fits nicely in a room that also has a bike and a treadmill. With all that equipment, I should be in better shape. :)

46. yow!
Bowflex...that looks so cool on TV. There's no room in my apartment for something like that though.
By the way we are experiencing 66 % humidity up here in Anchorage and it's 4 am. I saw my first mosquito of the year yesterday..it looked hungry.

49. LOL.... mosquitoes year round here
in Florida. Though amazingly, I'm not bothered much by them. With a screened in lanai (patio) around the pool, they don't usually get in. A black snake did get in the other day though. My cat pounced on it. Scared the bejeezus outta me.

71. Don't quit...
the caffeine. Just have it cold and ready when you're back from your walk.

(oh, and drink water, too!)

75. What??
Isn't that defeating the purpose of walking? What if I lower it to like one can a day? That way I won't have caffeine headaches!

81. Walking is for exercise
and getting fit and ready for the beach.

Also, exercise may lessen your need for caffeine as your fitness improves. Getting enough sleep helps a lot, too. If you want to lessen your caffeine intake, a can a day is a good idea.

83. HA! What's sleep??
I don't think I'd ever be fit if that's one of the factors!

Can't wait to go back to the beach! People that live around it don't realize how lucky they are.

87. You gotta rest
That's a big factor. Those who're tired tend to snack and eat more in order to stay awake.

72. Quit the Caffeine?
It may prevent liver damange. http://rednova.com/news/stories/2/2004/05/20/story006.html You have to have a motivating factor. For me that can be kind of alot of things, the result is a big one for me. Also I have some goals in mind and being strong is very much required. I have used alot of things to motivate myself. You have to find a motivitating factor like you why do you want to be in better shape? Just start from there but you need a reason to motivate yourself.

I just want to be more healthy I suppose. Plus, I wouldn't mind being a LITTLE more confident. :)

79. That's a good reason
There are lots of times where I'm like 'I don't feel like doing this' I'd rather do something else. But then you figure, it'll be worth the trouble in the end. I also use that as self-motivating factor.
