Ever hear of "mountain bread"?

I bought cold cuts today and a woman in the store recommended mountain bread to me.

I like it!!!

She couldn't tell me why its called by that name, tho.

Anyone here know?

1. where do you live?
I used to work in a cheese-assed bakery in a basement=office=building food court just off the orange/blue line Metro in Wash DC, and our Mountain Bread was a round bleu cheese/sourdough loaf with pamesan crusted on top.

What are you talking about?

2. I live in Atlanta
and this bread is soft. Extremely soft.

A loaf cut into sandwich slices.

White bread, but very chewy crust.

It's quite good.
