Okay soccer fanatics. Who do you think will win the Euro 2004 championships in Portugal next month?

but it will be tough. Portugal being on home territory I expect to do well.

6. Like I said....
I could not fit the other countries in. No disrespect to the Swedes though I do have some Norwegian anscestry.

4. I had to vote France.
it killed me to do it, but it's either them or Spain. World Cup 2002 was a fluke, Henry (best striker in the world right now maybe?) and Zidane will be pumped up as will the rest of the team (Pires, Thuram, Trezeguet, Desailly and Vieira are hardly slackers...).

I'll be cheering for England though.

5. I say the Netherlands
They seem to have left their past problems behind. Germany and England will be hard-pressed to survive the preliminary round.

France, Italy, Spain and Portugal have good chances as well.

9. I picked Germany but....
I honestly think that this year's tournament is up for grabs. I even had this thought of what if Latvia won the whole thing? I know it's a long shot but just imagine it.
