pretty good storm going on here (west of boston) ...

my TV now says:

Searching for satellite signal ... Please stand by ...

i've been spending lots of time in Hopkinton State Park this spring ... my dog and i get there by driving up Howe St ...

has DS1 relocated ?? when i met him he was living on Winter Street ...

get a pretty good chuckle out of watching me throw snowballs at the satellite dish to knock off the snow ...

5. Ours got fried once.
Had to buy a whole new receiver.

Lightning at the cabin - pretty ferocious in the spring.

10. DemoTex Is A Ham Radio Operator
And can guide y'all on how to ground sensetive electronics before lightning strikes.

Nothing fancy or exotic; we've both been there and have done that, but DemoTex has the patience and distance of a saint where mine has been tested in setting up LAN's and stuff at my expense.

He's a good guy to know.
