Apparently, everyone will just have to put up with me until I'm 92. ;-)

Unless I get hit by a drunk driver, which is very probable in New Mexico, unfortunately...it's a serious problem

2. According to the test, followed by my own educated guess:
(Works in Mozilla, but not Konqueror... )

First the questions:

1. I am male.
2. I am 31-40.
3. I am overwight 10-30 pounds.
4. I don't smoke.
5. I do manual labor (but I also work at a desk. 50/50.)
6. I have a grandparent who lived over 85, I have a family member with a heart condition and diabetes.
7. College Degree (technical college, useless by now too.)
8. Angry. (Could be unhappy or intense or happy depending on situation. Generally angry though, with unhappy being a VERY CLOSE #2.)
9. Strenuous exercise? I don't.
10. Home life: Living alone for 11-20 years. (I've always been alone, but I technically moved out about 11 years ago, give or take a year.) No live-in SO. I'm not sure I have a SO, he's too recent and my hand injury was bad timing...

According to this hoax, I will live to be 74.

According to me, I don't think I'll live past 40. I've got about one year, maybe two at best.

4. What happened to your hand?
Why are you so convinced that you'll die by 40?

9. Infection. Pus-bomb blew up and I nearly got sent to the hospital.
Slowly recovering but I've gotten enough antibiotic shots and pills to swallow...

This proves I'm not suicidal. I was very close to getting blood poisoning (red streaks down hand into arm, painful joints, puffiness, the lot). Had I cared less, I would have done nothing.

the world is interesting with you in it, at least from the internet perspective, since I don't know you personally. :)

I got 91. Very long-lived gps, grad school., quit smoking and am generally pretty mellow. I also live with spouse and kid.

I was actually relieved.

I guess I lost points for living alone and saying I was unhappy. C'est la vie!

6. 83 is a sham. It didn't ask a single question
about my drinking habits. I'm healthy otherwise, though.

I think they left a lot of questions out that would have been relevant. i.e. you can not be overweight, but have high cholesterol, anorexia, drive like a maniac, be a drug addict, etc.

I have good genes and a very healthy lifestyle, but I just don't know if my money will last as long as I do. That's my greatest concern.

That sounds about right, I hope. I know that I have to calm down though and be more careful about what I eat as I get older. I have long lived ancestors though so that should help. I lied about all my grandparents living over 80 because my younger set isn't 80 yet but both of their mothers lived to be over 80 so I figure that should count.

As long as I'm one of those feisty old ladies who credits her longevity to good wine and rich food, then I'll be happy.
