...My ancestors raped Texas, then moved on to the Middle East. But I'm happy to say that my grandfather's generation put the kibosh on even more destruction and chaos after WW II. Well, he kinda had to---he could never make peace with the Brits. Them limeys carved up Iran and Iraq like a Christmas goose, and they threw their lot in with CIA and the Mellons. Among others.

So my answer to you, M-jean03, is quite simple: Drill until I hit paydirt, and then drill some more.

...But once in a while, I feel like being honest. Usually after half a dozen Dewars-and-sodas. I'll admit that my family's past is not relevant to this topic. For the record, I'm against any drilling in protected areas, and I try to do what I can, financially and otherwise, to foster ALL alternative forms of energy. This is the ONLY sane plan for the future, and I say this as someone whose own history is mired in the muck of liquid coal, okay?
