So yesterday Congressman Sweeney offered me a job... in a couple years.

Yesterday when I attended this art contest (which, btw, I got third runner-up at, out of 45 art students from our HUGE congressional district!) that was being put on by Congressman Sweeney (aka, Republican from Upstate NY)... Anyway. We were having a conversation about where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do, and he said if I come down to DC for college, I would probably have a good chance of working for his office.

I did not have it in my sweet little upstate ny heart to tell him I was never going to work for a Republican. :)
