How much time should you spend in DU?

Sometimes, being on here so much has affected me. I've taken some things here to heart and it's gotten me a little down.

Skinner posted a wonderful reminder that the world is out there and that we shouldn't think of DU as our world.

Seriously, how much time is TOO much on DU?

1. As much as we want to.

This place is my sanity.

2. Maybe an hour a day. But with Buzzflash and WHR, it comes

out to around 2-3 hours a day. Places like this are my sanity too. When I talk to people about what's going on I do sound like I'm insane.

4. In general

way too much time. It got out of hand for a while last winter. It was too cold to work outside so I sat here on DU. Springtime has kept me at a more normal level but it is still a lot of time. When I am home DU is on and I am back and forth. I found that a few days without DU makes me feel uninformed and these days that is not a comfortable feeling. Plus I miss reading about all of you who post a lot and I follow your stories.
