Woman stabbed trying to break up fork fight
FREMONT -- A woman was stabbed with a fork Thursday evening when she tried to break up a fight between two of her relatives.

Police were called about 10:30 p.m. to the 40200 block of Santa Teresa Common, where a 72-year-old woman had been injured after trying to break up a scuffle, Lt. Gus Arroyo said.

The injury occurred as a man and his uncle were scratching each other with forks, Arroyo said. Nobody was seriously hurt, police said.

"I know fire was dispatched, but I don't believe anyone was transported (to the hospital)," Arroyo said.
