1. OOoooh baby!

This year is FunDay X--the BIG one! I'm already getting fired up. Told an online buddy about it just last night--I've got him about half convinced to make the trip up with me! (Still no word on if Kevsand will be able to make it--the conference dates are kind of shifting back and forth--so I'm already working on people to go up with me...)

Lordy, my liver is already starting to protest... :)

And, since you're coming up from 399 miles away, feel free to bring a carload o'buddies. A picture of you (and Kheph and Kev) is in this years invite -- which is so nice that even Andy the Right Wing Republican likes it. As you know, Andy doesn't like anything.
Got 60 of them made and, had we paid full cost at the printing shop Dave Horton works at, the order would have cost $240 ($4 a copy!) -- but of course we got them a LOT cheaper than that.

3. Aw, man, cut Andy some slack.

He's always been on best behavior with me. I suppose he might be afraid of me, but I'd rather think he's just not a bad guy. Frankly, I've not met anybody up there that I dislike. I'll grant you that there are some "characters" that turn up--but they are all just good folks who do their own thing the way they want to do it. (I have to confess, I always worried that some of your buddies viewed ME as a "character"!)

Anyhow, I'm looking forward to seeing you all and I am working to recruit new folks. I do run across Doc on another forum--I'll be sure and remind him about it. I'll shot you an addy later tonight!

4. My whole life is a series of characters

The guy who produced the poster for this year's party is a Marxist, the one who's doing the FUNDAY RADIO programming is a born-again Christian, the dood who put the whole 16-page flyer together is the most Jewish-looking Lutheran in the whole wide world and Andy the Right Wing Republican and I are putting together the post-midnight radio show.
Oh, yeah -- the website should be up by Monday or Tuesday, too. We're just doing some final tweaks on it. Send your addy when you get a second (that goes for all you other DUers, too).
