Frickin' local theaters!! (rant)

OK, I decide that I might go to a movie tonight. So I punch up www.rottentomatoes.com to see if anything playing around here is any good. Out of 11 films that are playing in Marinette, (One eight-screen multiplex and one old two-screen theater downtown) only two films, Mean Girls and 13 Going on 30 got fresh ratings. Would it kill the management in either of these two theaters to go out and actually look for some decent films? Why not give something like Good Bye Lenin a shot? AAAAAGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!! :mad:

BTW, Don't expect any of these theaters to show Farenheit 9/11. Neither theater in marinette bothered to show Bowling for Columbine when it came out. I hate this fucking freeper infested county, and I can't wait to get the fuck out of here!

if it weren't for a handful of small independent theaters in MI, we'd never get to see those films either

Bowling down in Green Bay, and IIRC, there are plans to restore one of the theaters downtown and show arthouse and forgien flicks, but I don't know if it's gonna go through...

3. Stevens Point (Where I'm going this fall) isn't that much better....

Except for the annual Trivia Movie, which is usually something somewhat obscure, It's all fucking multiplexes.
