Whew! I found my Rosebud...
My sulcata tortoise, Rosebud, escaped from her pen. Luckily, I found her, after a long frantic search.

I was imagining what type of "LOST" poster I'd have to put up.

LOST: one tortoise. Doesn't answer to anything. Slow-moving. Likes bok-choy.


Maybe I should put a GPS receiver on her.

alongside the house, up near the front gate. Probably 40 feet.

11. GPS might be an overkill
perhaps a pager might be more appropriate. I ducktaped my old pager to my remote control and use it often. Don't tortoises and remote controls travel at about the same speed?
