4. We used to have this phone number...654-3210

but we had to give it up.. It was one digit away from the recreation center on the military base near us, and I logged 78 calls in a 2 hour period, and said..that's IT..

Our kids were small, and that was the greatest number for them to remember..I was sad to lose it, but I could not tolerate all those wrong numbers..

They had had THEIR number for 30 years or more, so I had to give MINE up..

Oddly , the one we GOT was not too bad either.. 654-7890...(that is NOT our current number..)

When we moved here there were only 3 exchanges...now we have about 20

Needless to say that was easy to remember.
