you'll all understand why i wasnt talkative last night, i watched the berg video and decided i needed to get away from the boards for awhile, and im probably gonna be a bit antisocial tonight for the same reason.

7. sometimes it's the best approac
I've never understood people cramming at their desks until the very last second, it just freaks them out.

I'd rather play a quick round of Zuma and hit the bed. hmm, good idea.

'night (I hope)

3. Good evening
The news is freaking horrible lately. I propose mass dandelion breaks for all. I have a zen garden out back if anyone wants to sit in it for a while.

8. Okay. Here is my zen garden.
I can't post a pic yet (it's dark so I can't really take one), so picture this......

(cue dream sequence music)

You're walking along a path of silvery flagstone that glows in the moonlight. Behind you a coper birdbath sits atop a tableau of sandstone, pristine and a bit misty in the cool air tonight. The light of a lantern draws you ahead. To your right, a stone Buddha greets you as you enter the garden. To the left, sharp sea rocks encircle a stone basin, and water flows into it from a bamboo spout. The sound of the splashing water is all you hear. Sleeping at your feet are the plants of a deep forest - rhododendron, flox, japanese fern, dwarf spruce, dead nettles, hostas. Towering above you is the largest spruce tree you have ever seen, dark and labyrinthine, wherein the denizens of the urban garden sleep with one eye open. You move quietly so as not to disturb them, and come upon the lantern, set in a rock wall like a lighthouse on the sea. The rock wall encircles a flat plain, and a river of pebbles lies at the basin. A cave along the wall conceals a meditative Buddha, at peace with the nature around him. The plain is surrounded by bambo walls, a welcoming courtyard of creeping vines and wisteria. Overhead, the stars gleam and acknowledge your presence.

That's my zen garden. Enjoy.

Usually it's like a Pavlovian dog thing. I see "insomniac" and then I realize the time and go to bed. Freaky, man.

12. Hey man....Angelus is late...
I'm checkin' in at 1:43 am CST. Thank God Friday is here! I get to go back to my apartment, away from my parents, and enjoy me some nice peace and quiet before I go back to classes on Monday. :(

Oh well. At least the classes will give me something to do all summer.
