I haven't been keeping up so much with Stargate Atlantis, but since I know that RDA wants to quit, it'll be good to have a chance for the actors on SG-1 to do some crossovers before SG-1 goes off. The only thing which has bothered me is when they brought back Shanks and basically tossed out Corin Nemec, who I thought was doing a damned decent job on the show. I wouldn't have minded Shanks coming back and having them keep Corin's character of Jonas as well, but I was upset when they basically "got rid" of him. I had thought there was a chance they could bring him back into the fold with Atlantis, but it doesn't appear that way.

I don't know most of the cast members of Atlantis, except for David Hewlett, who I happen to like a lot as an actor--he's done some really quirky things, and he always makes me laugh. So he's a plus.

though my knowledge of Egypt keeps me a-giggle (not so much with inaccuracies than situations) and that RDA looks keeps reminding me of Wesley Clark
