Going for the One this weekend
Yes is coming to MA for a concert, and my sis and I have tickets. We also found out that they'll be at a record store in Cambridge tomorrow night, so we're going to show up w/ our cameras and our Yes T-shirts.

Steve Howe and Rick Wakeman. Cool.

1. Great
Saw them about 25 (yikes) years ago in Springfield MA.
Wakeman is the greatest

2. I actually saw the "Going For The One" tour...
...with Donovan as the opening act.

Everyone should see Yes play "Starship Trooper" at least once in their lives.

BTW...a female fan approached the front of the stage...politely, I might add...and a security guard got a little rough with her. Jon Anderson rushed over, pulled the guard off of her, "had words with him" and the audience went C-R-A-Z-Y.

From that point on the band could do no wrong...and they didn't, either.

:-)

3. I kinda like Yes...
Are Chris Squire and Jon Anderson on board?

Do you know who's drumming? Bruford? White?

5. Just found out last night that they're playing the Garden
I think they're playing tonight, maybe this weekend. No chance of gertting tickets, though.

Sad.

Though an art gallery in Chinatown a month or two ago had a showing of a bunch of Roger Dean paintings, including a number of Yes covers. HUGE! They're 5'x10'. And gorgeous!
