After performing for the British royal family, the story goes, he was introduced to Queen Elizabeth.

"How do you do, Mr. King?" she is reported to have said.

"How do you do, Mrs. Queen?" he is said to have replied.

1. He used to do this funny bit...
He would claim that no matter how old the man, women always outlived their husbands. To prove this, he would read actual obituaries, which always included the words "Survived by his wife..."

It would be funny and a real tribute if someone did that at his funeral... :-)
