8. Thanks all
I ended up restarting so it must have been a software glitch.

Finally streaming again.

I was having withdrawals.

4. HELP!!!!
Edited on Thu May-06-04 12:15 PM by skypilot
I'm working on a different computer at work. My old computer got really messed up by that worm that was going around last week. Anyway, when I try to listen to streaming audio on this computer I get NOTHING. I have downloaded RealPlayer, checked "preferences", everything I can think of. Any thoughts or suggestions?

5. Do you have a proxy server to go through?

6. Uh, I don't know.
If it's not too complicated to explain, could you tell me what a proxy server is?

7. Here's how to check
If you are using Internet Expl., go to Tools on the Menu and then Internet Options.

In the Internet Options menu, click the Connections Tab
Click the LAN Settings button in the bottom right
If you see anything checked except "Automatically detect settings" then you are probably going through a proxy

What do you see?

11. Well, darn.... there goes that theory
Have you tried starting realplayer first then entering the URL, instead of using the one loaded by AirAmerica? I had some problems with that. Here is the URL that you can cut and paste into Realplayer.

12. I'll try.
You know, I'm not sure that I've been completely clear. When I go to AA and click on "Listen Live" everything seems to be doing what it's supposed to do, I simply get NO volume, NO sound. Everything seems to be "connecting" and "buffering", etc. Just NO sound.

13. I had the same problem, until I loaded it directly from RealPlayer.
Not to insult your intelligence or anything :) , but do you have any sound at all? Have you checked the volume control?

14. LOL!!!
Yes, I do have sound. I can listen to CDs with no problem. It's streaming audio that I'm not getting.
