Stealhead Salmon... Damn it's Good!
and it's 3.99 a pound at my local Albertsons. Also...sprinkle Paul Prudhomme's Salmon seasoning on top...YUM!

(and it's, uhm, steelhead)

But in a pinch, Albertson's will do I guess. Good eatin' to ya'!

I guess I'm spoiled, seeings how I just send the DH out to catch some when I get a hankerin'! Or pull some out of the freezer like I did last night. I'll keep you in mind this summer!

there's steelhead.

there is *no* steelhead salmon. ;)

i live on the mohawk river (more of a creek, really, most of the year) in oregon, and it's a waterway in trouble with all the agriculture run-off and logging, but we've been working to bring it back. anyhow, i was down there this morning and counted 6 fry in a little pool right behind my place! i don't know whether they'd be salmon or steelhead or trout, but it's pretty exciting. to me anyway. yeah, i should get out more...
