Postcards for our troops(thread#2)

Ok I have a list of 15 people who said they were interested in this idea...it would be nice to see some others join in...so if you want to get in on this please reply...Each person that signs up will get 5 postcards each to write a message and send them off to a random soldier now serving...if we could send about 200/250 or more...that would be great...since the idea is to send them to random troops...they can pass them around to other soldiers...

I'm not looking to make one bit of profit on this idea...I simply want to send something to our troops that will give them something to smile about and something to let them know that regardless of the the right is saying...that us Democrats/liberals/what have you...do support our troops...we may not support the chimp...but we do support them...

here is an idea of a postcard that I threw together last night...

1. This is a good idea - We corresponded to a GI in 'Nam

when I was a kid. It was a mail drop type thing that my mother responded to - and he wrote back. I still recall postcards he sent us of the rice paddies and helicopters. He was a good guy, I don't think we ever met him, but my mother stayed in touch with him until she got sick. It was a good education and personalization of the war for me, I was all of about 8.

I'm in for this one.
