2. The comic was pretty great too
ROM was my first electronic toy, so I have a fondness for the old guy.

(Sad ROM fact: Bill Mantlo, the artist best known for his ROM work, has been in poor health for many years, unable to draw or write.)

7. I HAD one of those babies...........
as well as a couple of the comic books that illuminate his tragic past. I remember it being pretty cool. Flashing lights, whooshy-sounds - what more could a kid want? Don't know what ever became of him, though.
