Ok ladies, it's time to do some heavy thinking- handsome or cute?
Which look should I go for? After one rather hum-drum year at college I've decided to be more outgoing with the girls next year. So, is handsome or cute the way to go?

I'd do a poll but I'm not a donor (yet).

7. As a gay guy, cute always worked for me.
Cute guys always lasted in the long run. Some even became "handsome". Cute guys usually have cute personalities. They're usually sensitive and caring, too.

My SO was / is very cute. And, he's become very handsome, too. 30 years together attest to my choice of "cuteness".

So, "cute" always trumps "handsome" in my book.

And, BTW, good luck!

:hi:

8. I'm too old for cute
Not that I'm that old (maybe ten years on you). I mean, there has to be something physical there that when you see them makes your butter melt and for different people it's different things, but overall, brains and they way a man treats you is far more important. I would take that stuff a million zillion times over then either the "handsome" or "cute" factor alone. Besides, I'm more than content to be the pretty one. :7

9. Cute = Personality while Handsome = Stiff
From a guys perspective: If someone has personality they are probably much more likely to remain attractive while Handsome fades quickly with out laughter and personality. As a guy I see a lot of women make the mistake of going after handsome rather than someone who is still young at heart and has a childish playfulness. For instance someone like Michael J. Fox would probably fall into the "cute" category compared to say Pierce Brosinan "handsome". Wouldn't Pierce get old and those looks start to fade? Michael J. Fox would grow on you and his personality would keep him interesting. Then again I am not attracted to men so I don't know what the hell women are attracted to. Way to much interest in the bad boy though. Womens brains go absolutely out the door when it comes to the Bad boy. Will someone please explain the bad boy attraction to me? Why is it that rough and rouged men tend to be attracted most to "good girls" while even smart women are attracted to the worst men? Defend that one girls.

I would shoot for funny and smart. You just need to booze them up enough to listen.

I had a ex sneeze on me one time. She was the funniest girl in the world. I thought it was cute as hell.

{edit: OOPS, not a girl}

11. Go cute.
That's if you want long-term relationships.

Handsome if you just want a short-term relationship.

I always felt more comfortable and could be myself with the cute ones. I had more fun, too.

Being with the "handsome" guys always made me feel like I needed to try to look better than them. Always competing against other girls for my guy. I heard one time from some stand-up comedian or something that you never want to like a guy who is prettier than you.

Go with being cute. You'll have more fun.
