1. Yes!!!!
To make a couch move you need an object of sexual affection and some vigorous copulation... Works every time.

4. me and my burly buddies can make it happen
Actually I got my car stuck in the mud once, and my burly buddies helped me out by PICKING THE CAR UP AND MOVING IT OUT OF THE MUD. True!

5. Yes and one should always be careful around them
For example. We were having a party. One of our friends was late coming to this particular party. When he arrived at the party instead of partaking in the festivities he plopped himself down on a handy couch and immediately fell asleep. The couch then spontaneously got up and moved itself towards the door and proceeded to walk out and eventually plopped itself down next to the freeway.

Couches. Tricky things. Don't trust them.

7. Of course
All of your furniture moves about while your out, only to return to their exact postitions just as you arrive back home.

I thought this was common knowledge.

Did you not see Brave Little Toaster?
