WTF!! Comedy Central 13th anniversary show and no mention of MST3K???
I'm Watching the Comedy Central baritzvah the 13th anniversary show AND NOT ONE MENTION OF MST3K??? They have showed and mentioned every show BUT the groundbreaking show that put that channel on the map. They went as far to say that Politically Incorrect was the first Comedy Central hit? No Offense to Bill Marh but MST3K was the show the made people take notice. I love Comedy Central because of the Daily Show, South park and other really funny shows but this has gotten this MISTIE BEYOND PISSED! They showed just about every show that ever was shown on CC but no Joel, Mike and the bots..
I love ya Comedy Central but I have to give you one big FU! :spank:
:WTF: For not mentioning one of the best shows ever to grace your channel and television for that matter. That just plain SUCKS!

1. I noticed that too...
I think they may have sold off the rights to the SciFi channel.

2. I had a feeling that was gonna happen!
It was MST3K that made Comedy Central in the first place. The network thanked those good folks by unceremoniously cancelling the show in 1996. So it simply is keeping with Comedy Central's practice of inexplicably dissing MST3K not to have mentioned it on their dumbass anniversary show.

Douche bags....

3. Its a pretty Sh*ty thing if you ask me...
If it was not for the Daily Show I would boycott that channel period. It was very scummy not to show props for the show that made people take notice of your channel.

4. I have a grudge against MST
They dissed Rush too many times. (The band, not the blowhard.)

5. No one was safe from them..They like Rush ( the band )
They made fun of everything, No one was safe from the riffing on cheesy movies. Just ask Joe Don Baker LOL. For the most part if they made fun of you lots they like you..Like Wisconsin ( Mike is from there ..there is at least 3 to 4 wisconsin jokes per ep )

6. Bastards...

They abandoned MST3K to Sci Fi where that network squashed it.

I just interviewed Joel for my upcoming film, American Scary.

It's about TV Horror Show Hosts.

8. In the beginning, MST3K was a cable-access show...

...in the western suburbs of Minneapolis.

I remember it being on cable access TV when I first moved to Minneapolis.

9. Yup...
And they used cable access to sharpen the product until they could sell it onto a network.

A LOT of current Horror Hosts are doing that.

10. MST3K:
Best. Show. Ever.

However, TDS is a close runner up.

12. MST3K deserves to be in the comedy history books..CC sucks!
It was a groundbreaking television show that defined modern humor just like the Simpson's, Seinfeld and the other shows that get praised today.
For Comedy Central to ignore and dismiss it like they did in the anniversary special was wrong and unjust!
I'm pretty pissed about it!

13. It must be the Hands of Fate...
MSTK 3000 was the best of what Comedy Central had to offer. After they ditched the main program I regularly watched, I stopped tuning into that station. They also provided the best comic relief during the political conventions in 1992.
