My daughter is extra inquisitive today. Y'all helped me with the fundie orchestra question, so now here's another from her:

Her history teacher (Washington & Lee, 1960) regaled the class with a story about four al-Queda prisoners in NYC who sharpened a comb and stabbed out a guard's eye, stole the keys and escaped. I don't know when this was supposed to have happened.

Couldn't find it on truthorfiction.com.

The teacher went on to say, "This is the kind of people we're dealing with!! They're worse than Hitler...or Stalin...or Castro!!" She said the veins in his neck started bulging as he stalked around the classroom swinging his pointer stick in the air.

Anyway, she wants to know if his comb story is true, so have any DUers heard it before?

If such a thing had happened, the corporate media would have gone into a feeding frenzy and Ann Coulter would have been radiantly apopletic. The guy is missing and eye and has permanent brain damage from the comb which went very deep into his brain.

He was the nice guy, and thusly a soft target the perp said. The prisoner saved up enough chili hot sauce to blind him with, and then stuck the comb in his eye.
