Just got a great little studio in Monterey just a block outside Pacific Grove. I have a view of the ocean, and access to one of the great cities in this country, San Francisco, without losing my arm in rent. Moving out of Minnesota is bittersweet, but at least I'm just in time to miss the winter.

I looked at a building at 500 Hyde--if you were one of the transients sleeping against it at 10:00 PM, I was the one gawking at the three hookers leaving the hotel that advertised its color TVs. :)

I still stop at the "Seven Gables" Bed and Breakfast when I pass through: .. JUST to watch the waves there .... its a truly wonderful place ....
