7. Not yet
although Canada looks better to me with every new story I read about thsi @#$! anti-gay marriage amendment.

The plaid thing is kind of a joke that developed a life of its own several years ago. I do have some Scottish blood in my family but I don't know enough about it to know which kind of plaid I should be.

The chick who designed my site found a great plaid background that looks way better than the one I came up with for the snake graphic:

11. Try this
http://www.tartans.com/

Put in whatever last name is Scottish connected, and it will give you your clan and tartan.

And if you come to Canada you'll hear pipes and see kilts allatime.

15. No dice
The last name I associate with my Scottish heritage doesn't appear to have a clan. Would have to do some more research before I could claim my rightful tartan.

19. he's a she
I finally have a theory why so many people think she is a he.
Because they associate the name with Black Adder, who was a male character.

21. I don't--my partner is a union-side labor lawyer
I do my bit to promote the cause whenever I can. Although I have yet to learn all the verses to "Solidarity Forever."

My profession, unfortunately, does not organize, which is really too bad. Nobody in it wants to think of him/herself as a worker.

23. What profession doesnt think of themselves as "workers"??
Lots of groups have unions, Vegas showgirls, football players, waiters, musicians, etc... If not a union some just have trade associations and guilds that help them set rates and have standards such as plumbers and photographers.

You have me curious. Its not illegal or anything s it??
