Post counts acknowledge DU'ers contribution no matter how big or small and are a viable means of embracing others in our community regardless of whether we agree with them or not in other forums.

to see newyawker's sexy sweetness on display when she posts the "congrats" threads. So I'm in with the "newyawker fan club," whichever option that is.

They helped form the DU community. They are worth some extra posts. They are easy to skip if you're not interested.
