6. Bob and Ray right here...
http://www.bobandray.com/

I've got quite a few of their CDs and tapes, and fond memories of their amazing live daily four-hour AM radio show in NYC during the 1970's...

Bob: "....lly Ballou here on Seventh Avenue, where, I'm afraid, the St. Patrick's Day parade is very disappointing this year."
Ray: "Uh. Could we get some one to tell Wally that the parade's over on Fifth Avenue?"

8. saving whales

Bob: Hi, I wanted to write your show and comment about the editorial concerning saving whales.
Ray: What could you possibly have against saving whales?
Bob: Most of us New Yorkers live in very small apartments... there is simply no room for a whale.
Ray: uh,... (folllowed by dumbfounded silence)
