5. Hawaaian...hands down

One of the best things about living there was that I would get up in the morning, turn on the tv for the equivalent of what was my PDB; get caught up with what was happening with the world, and then get on with my day. By dinnertime, the EST-centric world had gone to bed and things were peaceful.

I think that's a large part of aloha.

(If only I had Tivo then!)

My folks live there. Half the year they're 3 hours behind, the other half they're 2. Pisses me the FUCK off when I'm trying to give them a call on a Sunday morning!
