WIll someone PLEASE teach me how to post Pictures??

Im really not that internet savy..I guess I should read a book or somthing but for the Love of god would someone Please teach this fool how to post picts on DU? Ive been on since the Selection and I cannot figure out how to do it.

Keep in mind im a Commupter dummy and deal only in laymans terms. Winner gets a nice cooked dinner at the Rock Bottom Grill in virginia beach, VA..( Not free but ill hook you up! A Beer on me could be a possibity)

First question, do you want to post something from somewhere else on the internet, or a pic. you have on your computer?

1. Go here http://207.137.168.225/

2. Upload your photo there

3. Copy the url it gives you (it will look something like
this: http://207.137.168.225/yourpic.jpg)

4. To insert the picture in a message here, just add the link
(no brackets or anything)

6. Make sure "jpg" is lower case before you upload

"JPG" doesn't work.

4. If you see a web graphic you want to use,

right-click on it and choose "view image" or "open image in new window". You'll get a browser window with just the image you want. Copy the URL starting with http and ending with .jpg or .gif.

Paste that into a message and you're done.

(On Windows, you can also right-click the image and choose Properties, and copy the URL from there.)

5. 1. Find a picture online

2. right click (assuming Microsoft product)
3. Go to Properties
4. double or triple click on the URL for the picture
5. Press CTL-C to copy it into clipboard
6. Go back to Post a Message
7. Press CTL-V to paste the link into the Message window
8. Click Preview to make sure it works.
9. Post!
