8. Probably too much spring snow still though
Too late for skiiing...too early for hiking.

I remember doing a hike in the Tetons in late June and coming across several feet of snow on the trail and having to turn back.

11. Moran is actually a real last name...
However the freeper that misspelled "moron" was definitely responsible for more people subsequently spelling the word correctly, than he will probably ever know.

Underworld to gather for Moran's funeral
The Age | April 5, 2004

The fast dwindling ranks of Melbourne's underworld will gather at a suburban church tomorrow to farewell their latest loss, slain crime family patriarch Lewis Moran.

Hundreds of mourners, including Moran's estranged wife Judy Moran, are expected to farewell him at St Therese's Church in Essendon at midday, the same church where his stepson Mark Moran was farewelled after being shot dead in June 2000.

Moran, 58, became the 23rd victim of the bitter gangland feud last week when he was shot dead in a pokies pub while enjoying a drink with a friend.
