I reached my full height when I was 11. I was an inch taller then. Degenerative disc disease and other back problems has had me lose an inch in the past 14 years or so.

We are tall in my family. My 8 year old son is tall as well. He is (according to our doctor) 5" taller then he should be for his age. He is a whole head taller then his classmates. Basketball scholarship in the future???? I stopped growing when I was 18 except for my feet which grew 1/2 size every time I was pregnant with my kids. (Not to worry, they are not disproportionatly bigger then my height)

Seriously. I was 4'11" when I graduated high school, and it took me 12 years to grow the next three inches to my current towering height.

My husband's 6'2" and his sons are 6'3" and 6'4". John says I look like a Jack Russell running with a pack of Rottweilers. I point out that a Jack Russell can kick a Rottie's ass with sheer attitude, too.

They outweigh me by an aggregate of nearly 700 pounds or so, too - I weigh 115, and they weigh nearly 800 pounds between the three of them. Those are some big boys.
