Tech Question - where to upload an image

How do you put an image from your hard drive into a post?

2. You need to upload it somewhere

www.photobucket.com, I think will let you host some images for free. I think there's also a DU host site, though I don't know the address for it. Maybe you should edit the title of your post to say tech question - where to upload an image...

I've got a bucket load of images I've been sent of the internet, mostly quite disgusting, but there's one or two I'd like to use every so often.

link them directly. just find out the url of the picture

I have no idea where the image came from and I change most of the names

7. I think this is against DU rules. It's probably not a big deal with CNN

or other high-traffic sites, but it can overwhelm a small-time web site.
