It was an amazing day! Thanks to LynneSin for organizing the delegation and sorting out the banner. Also, the George W. Bush cardboard cutout was a stroke of genius. I think youngred got his picture taken about 500 times carrying that thing around :)

It was great to meet the DUers who took part. I won't name all the names because I know I'll forget someone and I don't want to leave anyone out. I'm sure they'll let you know about it when they get back online.

...you will find me most appreciative. What a wonderful thing to have happened - I am so glad I finally got to catch it on C-Span last night, well at 1:00 am CST this morning. So I watched from Whoopi all the way to the president of NOW - could stay awake no longer! But the emotion of the event played well across the hours...I could still feel the sister/brotherhood coming across.

I saw the DU banner! Thanks again everyone.

Thanks for posting them! I'm glad I got to put a face with the names of DUers. What a good-looking group of people! I'm also glad you guys took pictures of the freepers and posted them. They truly did embarrass themselves (especially the punks with the skateboards and the dude with the marine sign).
