1. Kim's Chinese Restaurant, Medford, Oregon
The BEST Chinese cuisine in the world. I've been around
a few times and this is the BEST. Put your fists together
side by side. That is the size of their egg rolls. It is
to die for.

3. Birmingham, Alabama
The Fish Market on Birmingham's South Side, wonderful fresh seafood with no frills. Runner up is Nabeel's in Homewood ( a suburb south of Birmingham). They server Lebanese and Greek food in a taverna environment. (2 entries for 2 cities I know).

4. Cozy Dog, Springfield, Illinois.
It is a historic route 66 diner type burger/hot dog joint. They have great "Cozy dogs" (you can't order a corn dog), great burgers and fries.

It is not fancy but a place worth eating. Our 6 year old makes it his "birthday dinner" every year.

6. Zingermans deli and the Big Ten Party store in Ann Arbor, MI
Zingerman's is a Deli/market. It's on Detroit St. in Ann Arbor. The Big Ten Party store is a great little market for specialty foods, wines, beers, and supplies to make the last two. It's on Packard Rd. south of Stadium Blvd.
