Anyone have experience living out of a cardboard box?
Late 1980's, underneath the Orange St. bridge, Missoula, MT. I believe it was a Frigidaire (with ice dispenser) box. The Poverello Center (the only mission) only had about 18 beds, and they filled up early. Not only that, but they kept your shoes for the night for safekeeping. I didn't like that.

To make a long story short, if you uproot and migrate across the country after a job, make sure you actually HAVE the job first. :eyes:

Luckily, I found better shelter before winter set in that year.

Nowdays, I'm in IT.

Good thing I already have experience...
