Saw something odd tonight at my nephew's baseball game

One set of parents (really nice people - my nephew's played ball with their son for years) showed up in the Hummer - with the Minnesota loon license plate on it. You pay extra for this plate and I believe the money goes to the DNR to preserve habitat...Am I the only one who sees an inconsistency here?

2. hummers for habitat....

I wonder how they would react to pictures showing the massive habitat destruction represented by each Hummer's production,operation, and maintainence (or any other automobile, for that matter)?
