Breaking Story___Bush turns deaf ear to Nancy’s pleas…..
Edited on Thu Apr-22-04 07:44 AM by The Lone Liberal
Tommy Thompson, Secretary of Health and Human Services is rumored to have confirmed that President George W Bush refused to take any calls from former first lady Nancy Reagan during the 2001 debate on stem cell research. The story, yet confirmed or released, presents a picture of the former first lady pleading with the White House on behalf of aging Republican icon, Ronald Reagan.

The rumors have it that Bush told Secretary Thompson, “After the way that old fart treated mommy and daddy, I wouldn’t piss on him if he were on fire, I’m not taking calls from the wasp-woman

Only two days later President Bush citing incorrect information on the number of stem cells available for research issued a Presidential Order forbidding any research involving new stem cells.

Ms. Reagan denied comment when not requested for a interview for this story. It is thought that Nancy then turned to VP Cheney with the plea, "Dick, don't continue to be a Dick, help Ronnie!"

1. And old Nancy had the best revenge on numbnuts!!!!
On her astrologer's advice, she called in a voodoo high priestess who put a dire curse onto Bush -- everything he touched after that would turn to shit.

Need I reiterate all the evidence? I didn't think so.

2. It was reported in Cindy Adams' column
that Nancy refers to * as "the Village Idiot." Of course she denied it. Nancy treated the Bushes as hired help and rarely invited them to the White House. She considered Bar, in her blue dresses and pearls, a frump.

3. And blue-blooded Poppy and Bar undoubtedly had their opinions of
Nancy and Ron. They probably thought of them as hollywood social climbers, compared to their pedigrees.

4. Can you blame her after that hideous gift they gave Ronnie??
The Bushes had a footstool made for Ronnie. Cowboy boots as the legs and the cushion part had the Presidential seal on it.

I'll bet Nancy had a heart attack when she saw that tacky piece of crap. And the Bushes thought it was great.

I wonder what attic it got sent off to.

Says alot about the Bushes. All that money and no taste and certainly no sense...

5. I don't doubt that it is true
The Bushes and the Reagans have never liked each other. It's a measure of Nancy's desperation that she would even try to be civil and contact the son of the man she believes to be responsible for the assassination attempt on her husband. I don't like Nancy but I feel for what she is going through. The Bushes never seem to know when enough is enough. I'm reminded of a Caligula or a Tiberius.

6. I read about that in Vanity Fair
like a year ago. It was an interview with Nancy.
