I played it side-by-side with the American Standard Tele, and a Mexican.

The Mex sounded like shit, the American had GREAT tone. The Korean was $300 less than the USA ($600 vs. $900) and plays super-hot (thanks to the Seymour Duncans). I have a heavy-ass Gibson Sonex for tone, I wanted a Tele for brittle nastiness. So I bought the Korean.

My ears are ringing from playing it very loud this aftenoon.

Chrissy Hynde played a pretty mean Telecaster too. My other friend has a Gibson Stratocaster.

Just about have to have the blonde. I did see a custom shop Tele go by ebay a few years ago with a metallic flake blue body that I was lusting after pretty badly, but I didn't pull the trigger. Now I regret it................
