Hot diggity, the wind is whippin' here!!!!!!!!
Lots of severe t-storm and tornado warnings and there's a gollylickin' of a storm line approaching.

I can even see the flags across the street; even the flagpoles are starting to bend over the wind.

Well, so much for me kite flying tonight... :-(

1. Where are you?
Edited on Sun Apr-18-04 07:08 PM by DemXCGI
I'm in South St. Paul right now, and the storm line hasn't hit yet.
But it's coming. I can hear the wind.
Eep. Now there's a roof off the house in West St. Paul.
Why am I still on this computer?
(that's assuming you're the same Hypnotoad that's in the Twin Cities...I could be completely wrong, and if I am, then boy do I look foolish right now.)

2. Near by Lake Elmo...
I've got a few minutes left... but it's definitely darker out.

Possible rotation in Vadnais Heights...

Bloody hell, roof off house in West Saint Paul?!?! I know the wind's been a kicker, but that's nasty!

Yeah, I'll be unplugging the phones and probably powering everything down, if not simply turn off the circuit breaker...

I might get dressed and go out with the camera, though the wind is a bit of a downer and the darkness doesn't help... (one of the advantages of being eternally single is that I can do dumb things and have fun doing it, without worrying loved ones who depend on me. Of course, there's nobody for me to cuddle with and I hate having to get dressed...)
