Check out what's in my CD changer right now!
Back in 1998, I e-mailed a friend of mine who is a veteran rock critic, and asked him to recommend some good songs from the last decade or so. My friend provided me with a list of about 100 songs, all of which I subsequently found and burned onto six CDs, alphabetically by title.

2. I know you're being facetious, but...
...there's quite a bit of good material on those CDs. Unfortunately, there's also stuff I can't stand, but one man's garbage is another man's gold.

Whatever the case, it was nice to finally have at least some knowledge of the mass-appeal music of the '90s. I didn't feel quite as out of touch! :)
