It was starting to become such a nice wifeless day too. Charlie and I were outside fertilizing and we just cam back in. I sat down to check on my DU addiction, when Whammo what do I hear? Dog owners know the sound and if we hear it its too late to get them outside.

Grrrrrr. l8tr DU I'm cleaning yellow slime.

cleaning up these messes are routine.

The reason you have a dog, like I have my cats, is because of the unconditional love they give. A few barf spots are just a small price to pay for all they give to us.

The nice thing about the dog, however, is that after thinking he would NEVER housebreak (he got the poop thing down, and the at night thing down, but would pee in the house whenever he felt like it, and it went on FOREVER - well past when it should have) he will now run to the door if he starts retching and try to hold it back while I run for the door to let him outside. If I make it in time, all is well. :)

4. I have a large dog so when he hurls

it is SOOO awful. He loves his rawhide bones but some are made to where large portions can be bit off and he bites it off..swallows it whole and chucks it up...it took me a couple months, but I finally found some that are just the right size and shape that he won't do that.

I feel for ya...when my boy throws up, I have to clean a little...go gag for a bit...clean a little more...go gag some more...clean the rest and by then my glands are working overtime and I just have to sit there close my eyes and wait for the sensation to pass.

5. Tell me again

why I had kids!! I remember many years ago, one of my little ones got sick in the car. No little puddle like the dog or cat makes, but a huge projectile vomiting in the back seat. All over the kid, all over the car. I had to drive for miles before I got to a place where I could begin to clean it up. It took a month to get the smell out.
