OK, I thought I overdid it in college, but these pics from the University of Connceticut are fucking nuts. Perhaps if I'd gone to a big sports school, I'd have been exposed to this kind of madness, but thankfully I went to art school. Sure, we drank excessively and yes, we set fires, but small ones, and never to peoples' cars. The occasional TV set, maybe, for the purpose of photographing them on grainy B&W film, but certainly never in a celebratory context.

7. a propos of "whitehats"

Around here (Cleveland) we call 'em whitecappers. Same thing, but nobody seems to wear the nominal white ball caps anymore, so when I say something derogatory about whitecappers, I often find myself having to explain. Anyone have a more updated term? "Fratboys" and "Steves" are so old anymore, plus there's no need to lump professional fraternities and actual people named Steve in with these assclowns.
