Democratic candidates "pimping the church"?
Black pastor on Vanity and Colmes now complaining about this fact. Admit it, he is correct, they all do it for the photo op!

1. THat is nothing compared to what pat robertson has done
in politicizing churches for money and power. That would be the real pimping/money changing.

3. What? Who?
Dean admits he is not comfortable speaking about religion but knows he needs to and does and gets attacked for it? He is honest about it and gets reamed? What is that about? Oh and who the f*ck cares if Job is in the Old Testament? At least he is trying to connect with folks. That should be applauded.

4. No one compares to Bush in this category.

No one even holds a candle to his pimping of religon for personal financial gain.

Not even the same sport.

5. Be true
to yourself. Playing to religion to win an election is not honest. If you do not wear your religion on your sleeve, don't start because it's what you need to do politically.

I want a President that will meet the needs of all americans and will be true to themselves.

7. Who is wearing it on their sleeve?
dean said "No" when asked if he thiks, "what would Jesus do" when making decisions. He admitted he thought about biblical teachings when signing the Civil Unions Bill. Is people want to know about his religion why shouldn't he speak about it? And what makes you think I'm not being honest? Pretty arogant.

8. My
apoligies, Dean does not where his religion on his sleeve. However, he has kept it out of his campaign, now he says that he will open up his views in thew South. That, to me and IMO, is political pandering.

Just my thoughts on this. A wayward Catholic who has been conflicted with his religion and his views on the world for many years.

9. Dean went to a black church in N.H. asked if he could be....
photographed with the Pastor's wife and him sitting in Church, (as if he were at a sermon) and then hell he left. The next week the same picture was released by the Dean campaign to Newsweek (how the hell else would they have gotten it?), along side a story about Dean campaigning in the south (i.e. to make him look like he was making in-roads with black people). That's what the minister is mad about. Don't surgar-coat it. More dirty underhanded shit he's getting called on, and damn right it's about time.

10. Both sides do it, they pimp us all
Did they listen when so many were against the war ? No! But now we see them out doing what? pimping for votes, when will we see them again after this election? when it is time to pimp for votes again. As the saying goes "that's the nature of the beast"
