Bush Immigration Plan is a Scam -- not to be voted on until 2005 (WSJ)

I was reading in the WSJ (page A4)...and it clearly shares that there are 60+ conservatives in the house and it would be a high hurdle.

But it goes on to say

" But approval of of legislation this year might not be as important fro Mr. Bush as getting it on record in favor of a plan. The election itself could become a referendum that gives momentum for action on Capitol Hill in 2005."

So there you have it...all smoke and mirrors shrub at it again...just a political ploy for the election.

4. Bombard the talk shows and get this out there. Ask the questions

Just another fake policy to get votes. The Bushies will bait and switch like they did on "no child left behind." All fluff, little or no funding and just ripe for Congress to kill. Then Bush gets to say (wink, wink) I tried to pass this bill for the illegal immigrants but the Congress killed it!
