God Endorses Bush
hope this ain't a dupe...thank you Pat. I've wondered who God was supporting.

from politics1.com

GOD ENDORSES BUSH. Not that God told me his views on the P2004 race, but God apparently shared his political preferences with televangelist Pat Robertson. In remarks on Friday's edition of The 700 Club, Robertson said: "George Bush is going to win in a walk. I really believe I'm hearing from the Lord it's going to be like a blowout election in 2004. It's shaping up that way ... I mean, could make terrible mistakes and comes out of it. It doesn't make any difference what he does -- good or bad -- God picks him up because he's a man of prayer and God is blessing him." Robertson has claimed in the past to have received messages from God, but with very mixed accuracy. For example, God has yet to destroy Orlando, Florida by "some serious hurricanes ... terrorist bombs ... earthquakes, tornadoes and possibly a meteor" -- which, Robertson claimed in 1998, God told him was going to occur after Disney permitted "Gay Days" parties to take place in the theme park.

2. I forget... is he the guy with ties to some Liberia gold mining company?
And Charles Taylor, too? Did he recently make statements about what a great Christian Taylor was? OR was that some other religious snake oil salesman?

6. not to mention an advocate of nuking
parts of the US Gov't - such as those traitors at the State Department.

If most people said things like that on national TV, they'd be internned in Gitmo. But for Pat, it was just a joke. funny how that works, when Ashcroft is in charge.

He's right about traitors in the Israeli-hating Arabist State Department. They should be interned at Gitmo or sent to Rhiyad

I am sorry for the mispelling. I am not a biggot. I am against Arabs who support and have no problem with the whabbist who number in the millions and there supporters number in the the 10's of millions. I should know my brother was killed on a bus by someone who's mother cheered him as a hero.

7. You think Pat or Jerry would embrace...
Charles Taylor if he were a muslim?

Or Sun Myung Moon was a Democrat?

Think not. Bunch of hypocricy.

How many of the 'Seven Deadly Sins' have these two clowns committed?

22. Actually the Bible thumpers pronounce it "Gawd - dah"
As in, "Gawd - dah spake to me in a dream and told me that George Bush would be hit by a hurricane - or maybe a meteor - oh wait, no actually it will be a landslide of Biblical proportions."

9. God=GOP Jesus=Democrat
without getting into some crazy philosophical debate about the trinity and whatnot, I once heard a good comparison like that.

Similar to the mommy/daddy party thing. Except it said that God is like that real hard ass in the sky. Nuke you with lightning and fire and brimstone. God is a Republican.

But Jesus - well, he hangs out with hookers and poor people, believes in feeding the hungry, and non violence. Jesus is a Democrat.

10. God picked David up...but there were some hard consequences to
David's actions. Haven't seen any of these similar consequences for Bush. Just waiting.

12. David's actions were punished with rebellion in his own house
One of his sons raped one of his daughters, another son took up arms against him and tried to take over the kingdom, and Bathsheba had a miscarriage, but later conceived and gave birth to Solomon.

So the question about Bush is will this happen within his own family, or is the family, in his case, an allegory for rebellion among his own people, ie white conservatives?
