Is anybody watching MSGOP? They are talking about Hillary
and how she made the comment about Ghandi. She said it was a joke, but I am not sure. If anybody has the quote, I would appreciate it. I sure the hell haven't seen it in any mainstream press.

But I am even more appaled at which columnist they chose to talk about Hillary. They chose some guy who writes for NewsMax to talk about her. He started saying all this crap like the Clinton's have an agenda and all that.

I never thought I would see the day that they would choose a NewsMax columnist to talk about Hillary.

Also, just noticed, Tammy Bruce is a columnist for NewsMax. How NOT suprising, even though she is labeled a progressive on FauxNews.

Daily Howler has more on Tammy Bruce here, here, here, and here.

Enjoy :-)

1. I just saw the clip
on CNN. Can't give you an exact quote, but it was something about Ghandi running a gas station in St. Louis.

8. "there is a lot of wisdom to be had from those running our gas stations"
of course, the irony of Ghandi as gas pumper was what got the laugh - she needed to put the wisdom line first -

as it was given the point was missed - as was the irony - and all that was left was Indian's running gas pumps.

Her apology was a class act - MSNBC has not been a class act.

2. Tammy Bruce is a Bush-bot in "psuedo-liberal" clothing
I didn't see what was so bad about this quote.

The Simpsons has Apu who works in the convenience store.

Are they racist?

4. I didn't think it offensive, rather it was
probably a tongue in cheek comment, not meant to offend, but rather to remind her audience of the true importance of leaders like Ghandi. Let the shrieking heads do what they will, their shrieking is meaningless to me. My nationality has been protrayed negatively at times as well, and while i freeze for a moment when I hear it, I usually get a good laugh out of it in the end. Not too many of us left, so the mere mention is unusual.

5. Tammy Bruce is worthy of much head-shaking
and not a little laughter. What a wretch that woman is! :D

6. According to the Daily Howler, she is a.......
racist. She shamfully defames the great names of Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks. Most Rethugs are bigots anyways!

9. Hillary has no sense of humor
That's really the problem here. If the joke was at all funny this would be less offensive. But she basically just spouted a stereotype without doing anything amusing with it.

10. exactly
no sense of humor. Beyond that, it's quite hard to argue that it wasn't a racist comment.

11. once again the rethugs control the terms of the "debate"
and once again, a Dumocrat falls into their trap by apologizing.

We deserve to lose at this point. Don't the Dumbs ever learn?
