BULL!
Just caught Bill Schneider on CNN with a poll that shows Dean losing to Bush by over 20 points.

Wolf asked him how this squared with the Time/CNN poll over the weekend that showed only a 5-point margin between Bush and Dean.

Schneider said that the newest poll (with Bush up by 20+) shows how "disaffected Republicans have rallied around Presedient Bush because of all the nasty things Dean has been saying about him" (not exact quote but close) He went on to say that Dean has even lost some Dem supporters because of his attacks on Bush.....

BULLSHIT!

This whoring is beyond anything I've ever seen. A 15 point swing in two days? BULLSHIT!

7. Good point, Jitterbug
It's Pravda nonsense, mostly.

If I lived in the Old Soviet Union, I wouldn't watch or read the original Pravda.

Now that I am trapped behind the Televised Curtain of Imperial Amerika, I also refuse to watch either Corporate TV Pravda or the Party-Loyal Right-Wing Sub-Media.

10. I gave it up a few months ago too
Several hours of cable news per day was making me way too angry, and then ultimately despondent.

Now, I get 2 hours of TV news per day between 5pm and 7pm. At 5pm, 1/2 hour of BBC World News, then 1/2 hour of one of the Network News programs (either CBS or ABC), then an hour of Democracy Now on our public access cable channel to help flush it all out of my system.

I feel much better now. It's NOT true that watching a lot of CNN will give you any better idea what's going on in the mainstream US. Not that many people watch cable news (any channel) all day long. An awful lot of people just watch a 1/2 hour of network then a 1/2 hour of local news on weekdays. Probably none on weekends -- newspapers probably get more readers on weekends.

So unplug from the Matrix, already - it's good for you!

3. Just simply unbelievable!
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. They must think we are soooooo stupid. I think it's time for a concerted letter-writing campaign to CNN.

8. Why does this surprise anyone?

Big Media will support Bush no matter what.

Everyone knows this yet they are appalled when they see it. I don't get it.

We all know that they will whore for Bush nonstop, what's the point of watching?

We must do an end around the media. Dean and Clark are the only ones doing this effectively.

I pray for a Dean/Clark ticket.
