1. Levitas is asking why the Ashcroft justice department seems disinterested.

2. This is pretty interesting

a caller was pissed at the author using the term, "right wing". he said a band of Texans were just prosecuted and pled guilty to terrorist activity (WMD). Of course it was kept hush-hush. The author noted that if they were of Arab descent, it would have been broadcast non-stop.

Timothy McVeigh's name keeps coming up too.

3. I wondered what happened to all those "Militia folks." I thought when

Clinton was gone they were happy they had the Chimp so they had given up their "arms." After all they got the Government they were wishing for with Bush. Maybe they should join the Army and go to Iraq. Where is their cause anymore? Chimpy is well on his way to a Police State here. :shrug:

4. I tuned in late

but what I was able to watch was very interesting. The Right Wingers (masters of labeling) were calling in upset that they were being equated with radical extremist groups but, as Levatas explained, these groups name themselves and are proud of being right wing "white supremacist" etc. Somebody brought up the Nation of Islam but, after all of the years of persecution of the black American community, is it surprising that there are black people that would form an organization that would be used to protect themselves and their various leaders? There is such a double standard when it comes to anyone other than the whites to form groups and the means to protect themselves and their beliefs. I don't know much about the Nation of Islam but, it seems to me, they are a group that practices the Islamic religion, trains their body guards to actually guard their leaders and are far less likely to commit terrorist acts than say a "white supremacist" group.
I hope I will be home in time later to catch this program if it reruns.
